How does ordering work for a business?
Submit a quote from the Request a quote page, or build one from live inventory. You receive a signed line-item quote within 24 business hours. Approve and place a PO — we accept card, ACH, or PO on NET 30 terms once credit is approved.
New or refurbished — what's the difference on Restart?
We stock both. New units ship sealed in factory packaging, sourced through authorised and verified channels. Certified refurbished units (Grade A, B, or C) are functionally tested against the manufacturer spec and graded on cosmetic condition. Both come with our 12-month warranty. You can mix new and refurbished on the same quote and PO — useful when you need sealed units for executives and refurbished for a wider rollout at the same time.
What are your volume tiers?
Pricing improves at 10, 50, 250, and 1000+ unit thresholds. Quotes for 50+ units are reviewed by a named account manager who can assemble matched batches by spec, grade, or deployment wave.
How do you handle data on returned or trade-in hardware?
Every drive is wiped to NIST 800-88 Purge standards before resale. We issue Certificates of Sanitization per unit on request and can provide chain-of-custody logs for HIPAA-sensitive and public-sector deployments.
What happens if a unit fails?
12-month warranty on every unit, every grade. We replace from the same grade/spec when possible; otherwise we refund pro-rata against the quote. Advance-replacement is available for fleet customers.
Can I get serial numbers and asset tags on delivery?
Yes. Every order ships with a CSV of serial numbers, grades, and functional-test results. Asset tags can be applied at the warehouse — send us your tag range or template and we do the labelling before shipment.
