Our story

Restart started because buying hardware for a team of any size felt like a choice between overpaying for sealed OEM boxes or rolling the dice on a refurbished marketplace that hid condition behind vague photos. How we source

New

New units are sourced through authorised and verified distribution channels and arrive sealed in factory packaging. Manufacturer warranties pass through where applicable; our 12-month warranty runs alongside.

Refurbished

Refurbished units come from corporate returns, lease ends, and OEM refurbishment programmes. Every unit is tested against the manufacturer spec — battery health, display, ports, sensors — and graded against a published rubric. Drives are sanitised to NIST 800-88 Purge standards before resale; Certificates of Sanitization are available per unit.
