Shipping Policy

Handling times, carriers, delivery estimates, lead times for bulk POs, and how Restart ships new and refurbished hardware — plus what to do if a package goes missing.

Handling times

Handling time is shown on every product page, right next to the price. Many Grade A and Grade B items ship the same business day when ordered before the cutoff noted on the listing. Larger devices and custom configurations can take a day or two longer. The handling estimate on the product page is the one we commit to.

Carriers

We ship with USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier is chosen per-order based on size, value, and destination — a phone goes out one way, a desktop workstation another. You cannot pre-select a carrier at checkout, but you can see which one was used as soon as the label prints.

Delivery estimates

Once an item ships, domestic ground delivery lands in about 2–5 business days for most addresses. Remote destinations (Alaska, Hawaii, and rural routes) can take longer. Carrier delays during peak seasons and severe weather are outside our control, but we will help you chase anything that stalls.

Free shipping threshold

Domestic orders over $75 USD ship free. Smaller orders ship at the calculated rate shown at checkout before you pay.

Tracking

You get an automatic email with a tracking number the moment the shipping label prints. That same tracking number is always available under the order on your account's Orders tab.

Signature requirements

Orders over [$2,500] ship with signature on delivery. This protects both sides — if the package is not signed for, it goes back to the local facility for a second attempt rather than being left unattended. Signature cannot be waived for these orders.

International shipping

We do not yet ship outside the United States. We are working on it. If you want to be emailed when international shipping goes live, drop your address via the contact page and we will add you to the list.

Address changes

We can only change the shipping address before the label prints. Once the label is generated the package is in the carrier's system and the address is locked in. If a change is needed after that, start a return once the package arrives or is returned to sender — we will refund and you can re-order to the correct address.

Bulk POs and lead times

Purchase orders over 50 units ship in staged waves on request so receiving teams are not buried on day one. Your named account manager coordinates delivery windows with your dock or IT room and sequences the waves to match your deployment plan.

Lead times depend on grade availability. A-grade stock in common configurations is often same-day; larger matched batches — consistent model, spec, and cosmetic grade across the order — typically take 3–7 business days to assemble and QC. The account manager confirms a firm ship window in writing before you approve the PO.

Freight shipping (LTL or full truckload) is available on orders above [250 lbs] or when pallet delivery is preferred. Freight routing, liftgate, and inside-delivery options are quoted per shipment.

Lost or stolen packages

If tracking says delivered but the package is not there, start by checking with neighbours and the carrier's local facility — recovered packages show up this way surprisingly often. If it does not turn up within 48 hours of the delivery scan, reach out through the contact page. We file a claim with the carrier and, in most cases, ship a replacement or issue a refund while that claim resolves.
